Haiti Mission Trip

Dillon along with his parents, brother and uncle went on a mission trip to Haiti. They worked at two Christian Fellowship Mission (CFM) orphanages in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. Dillon's grandfather was a founding father of CFM in 1966.
While at the orphanage, the boys and the rest of the work team painted the inside of the girls' orphanage that is now nearing completion. They also visited the boys orphanage where they handed out new clothes, shoes and toys. Even though a language barrier existed, they made many new friends during their week long visit. There were many sad faces when it was time to say goodbye, but Dillon left a little part of himself and his talent in the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Painted with the bright colors of the Carribean, on the otherwise stark and bleakness of a concrete wall, Dillon left the children two 6'x6' murals. A ray of promise and hope to the children who will think of Dillon and his brother when they catch a glimpse of his artwork and of the verse he painted on one of the murals. "Do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving present your requests to God."
Dillon donated money from his last two art exhibits to the orphange. 100% of money given goes directly to the haitian people. If you are interested in donating money, supporting a child or would like more information about the mission work and organization call or write
